age: 22
THE BASICSgender: Male
age: 33 at time of death
species: werewolf (ghost)
physical description:Caleb is, or was, short. Barely five and a half feet tall, which is short on its own for a human male, but exceedingly so for a werewolf. Scruffy red curls and facial hair, pale skin dotted with freckles, a snubby nose, and a simple wooden cane. His right leg contained heavy scars, all the way up to his hip.
As a ghost he is usually only visible to Deadspeakers, and the strength of his appearance will vary based on his location. In the house of Scott Blehnwar he will be nearly indistinguishable from a living person. He wears a thin brick-red tee-shirt, ratty jeans, sneakers, and always has the cane. He has a moderately short goatee, and always seems like he is half a day away from last shaving.

PERSONALITY/BACKGROUNDCaleb was a bastard child that ended up on the streets by the age of twelve. He was Turned by a traveling were on his way out of town who threw a fit. He was left crippled in his right leg.
He was Scott's first student. At first a sulky, verbally aggressive teen, he eventually accepted his new family and his place.
All of Scott's 'adopted' students became part of Caleb's family, but he took a particular affection for Rochelle Kepler. Maybe it was that they shared Phase and Gift. Maybe it was that she truly needed the help. All of the eventual six were better off for living with Scott, but, like Caleb, Kep needed the stability and support that was provided in the off-set house on campus. Caleb showed her how to use Illusion, employing it in keeping her distracted when she was feeling particularly miserable in the throes of withdrawal.
By the time the War happened, Caleb was living in Vancouver, working as a warehouse manager despite his physical disability. After it hit, he moved back on-campus with the rest of the other pack members.
He was captured, along with Kepler, and carted off to Elkyone Private Hospital.
Caleb was even mouthier than Kepler, and was even harder to control. It seemed the more they tried, the harder he pushed back. Because of his Gift, he was able and willing to cause disruptions quite regularly. So he was kept on a steady feed of Gift Suppresant. Being such, he was one of the first test subjects to be combination tested GS and Transformation Suppresant.
It didn't work, to say the least.
Caleb died. Less than a month after being captured, on his first Phase in the labs.
And stayed around, as a ghost. One focused on Kepler. When he wasn't sitting with her, or trying to talk to Griffin (who couldn't hear him), he was haunting Zea Mazuo.
Ghosts do not remember how to forgive. Their obsessive natures are a particularly strong block to that ability. Especially when they were cranky bastards to begin with.
Caleb never forgave Zea. And he never forgave Dice. When Dice was turned on by his own family and thrown into the cages, Caleb crowed and taunted him, even though it had no effect.
When Lab Pack was busted out and the labs were destroyed, Caleb followed. Now back in his own territory, he's gained power, and coherency. He now haunts the majority of the UBC campus, but spends most of his time still focused on Kepler, or Scott. Generally if he is not with those two he is in Scott's house. It is there that he has the most power and the most coherency. With no body as an anchor to the real world and himself, he's instead anchored to the house that meant so much to him.
